Position Description:

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for performing all quality assurance related functions within the company's quality program including quality training, auditing, batch record and quality record review, corrective action tracking and generation of standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5 or more years experience in the field or in a related area.
• Good to excellent working knowledge of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices for drugs and/or devices.
• Experience with FDA medical Device regulations is highly desirable.
• Independent and highly self-motivated.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to analyze data and problems and determine and implement solutions. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to lead teams.
• Organized, efficient, thorough and able to prioritize work.
